In September 2018, Climate-KIC Australia and our partners will host the Australian City Pitch Finals of the global clean-tech and green business ideas competition and Boot Camp program, ClimateLaunchpad.
What is ClimateLaunchpad?
ClimateLaunchpad is the world’s largest green business ideas competition organised by EIT Climate-KIC, Europe’s largest public-private innovation partnership. Its mission is to unlock the world’s cleantech potential that addresses climate change and help to fast track ideas into businesses. Climate-KIC Australia facilitates the annual competition here in Australia in collaboration with our partners in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
32 teams have attended the Boot Camps around Australia this year and will pitch their green business ideas. The top two start-ups will be selected to attend the National Finals in Melbourne for their chance to go to the international Grand Final in Edinburgh on 1-2 November to represent Australia among 45 other competing countries. One team will also receive the EnergyLab and KIC Australia pre-accelerator prize.
Join us for a night of high energy, networking and hear pitches from our competing teams and mingle with the start-ups! Drinks and canapes will be provided.
