10 October 2022 – We are delighted to present Climate–KIC Australia’s new strategy Climate Action through Systems Innovation.

This strategy for driving a systems response to climate change in Australia will guide our organisation through to 2025, and renew our mission to inspire and enable climate action by being a catalyst for systems change.

This strategy acknowledges the growing demand for connected and coordinated climate action to meet the scale and urgency of climate change, and as such, places our mission, vision and values, our collaboration network and our systems innovation framework at the core of our work. We are grateful for the thoughtful contributions to this strategy of our collaboration network, and we will continue to consult widely with our many stakeholders over the three years of this plan.

As we continue to grow, we intend to scale up our activities, including introducing our new Climate Action Lab, which provides a space and format to explore and map systems, seed ideas, catalyse funding and influence climate action.

We believe we can deliver the greatest impact by further developing our position and value as an orchestrator of complex collaborations to deliver transformative systems innovation activities.

We look forward to delivering on this strategy and working with our collaboration network to help Australia face the growing threat of climate change and seize the opportunity of a zero-carbon, climate resilient, just green economy.
