Australian innovators seeking to launch their green business will find profile, mentoring and investment opportunities with Climate KIC Australia’s ClimateLaunchpad.
The ClimateLaunchpad is an annual international green technology competition run across more than 30 countries.
It recognises the most promising early stage business solutions to climate mitigation and adaptation challenges.
Starting with a national call, Climate-KIC Australia, searches the country for the most promising cleantech solutions.
The qualifying teams attend two-day bootcamp programs where they receive hands-on training to develop their ideas into impactful businesses.
Next there are local and national competitions where entrepreneurs battle to convince the jury their business idea is the best.
National winners attend the European ClimateLaunchpad Finals, and gain preferential access to Climate KIC Australia’s Accelerator Program.
The competition is open to any Australian resident with an innovative green idea, whether it’s fully fledged or sketched on the back of a coaster. Participants must have:
